Illustrator - Educator

Gideon O Egbuchulam (he/him), also known as Ivorycurlz, is a Nigerian illustrator who works in animation and education. Unlike the Saturday morning cartoons of his childhood, Gideon explores the intersectionality of the black diaspora with his inspired deco approach and electric linework. That stands out in his upcoming comic series, Quasar Soldiers™. Which soon associated him with Nickelodeon as a story artist. His experience has contributed to creative spaces like the de Young/Legion of Honor, SFMOMA, Youth Arts Exchange, and Kala Art Institute.
